NightWalk
NightWalk is a student-ran night time shuttle service. It exists to provide safe and reliable transportation to and from locations on and around UCÂ’'s East, West, and CAS Campuses after dark. Similar to a cab company, students, faculty and staff can call NightWalk to pick them up and take them to/from places, but this service is 100% free.
NightWalk is available during Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters, seven days a week. Currently the operating times are Sun-Wed: 8pm-12am, Thurs-Sat: 8pm-2am. They are subject to change without notice (but we will try our best to provide notice anyway). NightWalk is not available during University holidays, and official breaks. Any other times which NightWalk is not expected to be in operation will be announced here on this website. Nightwalk also experiences a short down time around 11pm Thurs-Sat to allow for changing shifts.
Nightwalk does not run the Thursday and Friday of exam weeks or the day before Thanksgiving. In the event of a volunteer not showing the Nightwalk Safety Board will run 1 van that evening.
