What is NightWalk?

NightWalk is a student-ran night time shuttle service. It exists to provide safe and reliable transportation to and from locations on and around UC’s East, West and CAS Campuses after dark. Similar to a cab company, students, faculty and staff can call NightWalk to pick them up and take them to/from places, however there is no up front cost to the passenger(s), ever.

NightWalk is available during Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters. All seven days of the week. Currently the operating times are Sun-Wed: 8pm-12am, Thurs-Sat: 8pm-2am. They are subject to change without notice (but we will try our best to provide notice anyway). Excluding only select holidays, and official breaks. Any other times which NightWalk is not expected to be in operation will be announced here on this website.

NightWalk is staffed by student volunteers, and managed by a branch of UC Student Government known as the NightWalk Safety Board (NSB).
